For too long, corporations in this sector have dictated the terms—lobbying politicians to advance corporate interests, using public tax dollars to boost profits, and doing so while eroding wages, benefits, and working conditions for the people who actually make the industry run.

Through unionizing, workers can collectively reclaim their voice and address the issues that matter most in the workplace. Organizing is about more than just wages and benefits—it’s about having a say in training and skill development, workplace safety, and long-term job security.
